Thống is a lover of open source and the founder of foobla, a global Joomla! and WordPress development company that was created in 2007. Always full of ideas, Thống will share in his talk with us a new solution for providing multi-channel support. He will demo an all-channel, single-dashboard solution with real-time notifications that will make providing support for your users much easier.

Thống has been an active member of the WordPress Hanoi meetup group for a good while and we’re looking forward to seeing his presentation.

Topic: Automatic WordPress Development Using GruntJS

Kiên is a web designer and the brain behind SmoothThemes who has been working with WordPress for last four years. He also runs FameThemes, a theme shop which focused on the magazine and blog niche. In work he is a perfectionist who is dedicated to good coding standards and pixel-perfect designs. Outside of that he’s a super-friendly family man.

During his talk Kiên will share information with us on automating WordPress development using Grunt and also include valuable business insights for building a WordPress company.

Topic: My Secret Weapons for Developing WordPress.org Themes

Lưu Tiến Thành has been working with WordPress during the last five years. He is currently a Jack of All Trades at DesignWall and has also worked as a UI/UX Designer and WordPress Theme Developer in a previous life. Thành loves WordPress because it’s very simple to use and able to build a lot of amazing things on the web.

In his talk Thành will share his secret weapons for developing WordPress.org themes. This will include information on which tools to use to make your themes and also information on understanding the submission and update process for themes on WordPress.org.

Trần Ngọc Tuấn Anh has done a lot for the WordPress community in Hanoi, co-organizing the Hanoi WordPress Meetup Group and writing the popular Meta Box plugin on WordPress.org. He is a WordPress enthusiast who loves sharing knowledge and discussing everything related to new technologies, business, and life.

When asked what he loves about WordPress, Tuấn Anh says, “What I love most about WordPress is its open source philosophy and philosophy of building a user-oriented product. Other than that, the community has taught me so much.”

In his talk Tuấn Anh will give news and updates around WordPress, similar to what he does every month during the WordPress Hanoi meetups. He’ll also host a few flash talks and make sure that everything runs smoothly during the event.

Thang has years of experience as a Web product designer and developer. He specializes in developing web applications that are user-friendly, yet powerful. At BraveBits Thang is the visionary and heads the company direction while overseeing the design, the coding, the support flow, and everything else. Apart from work, he is a father of 3 kids.

In his talk Thang will discuss the lessons learned while building BraveBits, a well-known Hanoi-based company that has gained its reputation through not only its products but also its company culture.

Dat Hoang is an active member and organizer of the Saigon WordPress meetup group and an employee of OnTheGoSystems, the company behind WPML, Toolset, and ICanLocalize. Dat has a passion for both technology and marketing, and his involvement with WordPress runs deep.

In his talk Dat will share information on how to gain customer support and love, and how WPML support improves its core product. He’ll share useful information about what goes into supporting an international, multilingual plugin like WPML and give you tips and tricks to gain customer loyalty for your own WordPress product.
